Delhi gets its first 7 lakh 20-foot-tall ‘smog tower’ to purify the air in Lajpat Nagar Market

Starting Friday, the first ‘ smog bridge ‘ will be operational in Delhi. At the popular Lajpat Nagar Central Market in south Delhi, which sees an average footfall of nearly 15,000 people every day. The “smog tower,” the giant 20-ft-tall device was installed.

Delhi Metro launches free WiFi services on Airport Express Line

On Thursday, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) unveiled free high-speed Wi-Fi on its Airport Express Line in train coaches. “For the first time in India, free WiFi has been introduced on moving Metro trains. Delhi Metro currently provides WiFi at many major stations, including those on yellow and blue lines,” tweeted DMRC.


Kerala woman claims Anuradha Paudwal is her mom; files case & demands ₹50cr

A 45-year-old Kerala woman has filed a case in the family court of the district, alleging that she is singer AnuradhaPaudwal’s daughter. Astronomer’sinvention hydrogen ring around galaxy 260mn light-yrs away in Pune

NCRA’s Omkar Bait, YogeshWadadekar and five other astronomers from Pune discovered a galaxy with a’ mysterious’, starless and neutral ring of hydrogen gas around it, about 260 million light-years away from Earth. The ring was found to be much bigger than the galaxy, with a diameter four times bigger than that of Milky Way.
