2 positive cases of coronavirus detected in India

Today the government confirmed two more cases of coronavirus. One in Delhi and another in Telangana have been detected in India.

Before being tested positive, the patients had traveled to Italy and Dubai. So far no official vaccine for the deadly coronavirus has been created. These are the first positively confirmed cases of coronavirus in both Delhi and Telangana. In Kerala and West Bengal, three cases of coronavirus were also detected, each. All three cases of coronavirus were discharged from the hospital in Kerala.

Health Minister, Harsh Vardhan said “People should maintain hygiene, wash hands properly and avoid going to crowded places,” He also added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also closely monitoring the situation.

Earlier, three Kerala students who had reported getting the virus were discharged from the hospital after recovery and negative testing for coronavirus.

The deadly virus that first emerged in China in December 2019 spread to more than 70 countries and infected more than 88,000 people, including more than 80,000 in China.

Apart from China, the number of people infected in Italy now stands at 1,576. Deaths in Iran from coronavirus have hit 43, the highest number outside China and the total number of infected people has risen to 593. Total of 36 people have also died due to the virus in the country.
