The ongoing Coronavirus pandemic crisis has been the toughest phase for the entire world. With lacs of people losing their lives to the invisible enemy, the situation is grim. In the midst of this, a nationwide lockdown was announced to curtail the spread of the novel COVID-19.
During this pandemic, migrants workers are the one who suffers the most. Acting on the situation faced by migrants, Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu took to social media to share a video on Instagram screening a series of animations about the struggles migrants had to face during the coronavirus lockdown.
Through her video, she shows the struggles migrants faced while going home, graphic art shows a number of horrific events that have made news in the past few months.
From the horrible death of migrant workers on the railroads to the child trying to wake up his deceased mother, this video is a gentle reminder of what we’ve been facing in the last few weeks. Taapsee recounts this in the form of poetry.
She wrote on Twitter, “A series of pictures that probably will never leave our mind.The lines that will echo in our head for a long time.This pandemic was worse than just a viral infection for India.हमारे दिल से , आपके दिल तक, उन हज़ारों दिलों के लिए जो शायद हम सब ने तोड़े हैं । #Pravaasi #CovidIndia.” Watch this moving post below.
