Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor died in Mumbai today. The actor was full of life and humorous most of his appearance. He was battling leukaemia from past couple of years. Rishi Kapoor was admitted to HN Reliance Foundation Hospital as he was having difficulties in breathing as reported. The chocolate boy of Bollywood, gained a lot of success from Bobby and Chandni movies. Rishi Kapoor was in New York last year for his treatment and kept all the doctors entertained throughout his treatment period. He spent almost a year battling cancer in New York.
The veteran actor dies at 8:45am IST in the hospital. The news was brought to twitter by his co-star and family friend, Amitabh Bachchan first. He said, he is devastated with the loss of Rishi Kapoor in a tweet.

Soon, people from the industry, fans, his friends started showing condolence to the great man on their social media platforms. The film industry was still trying to recover from Irrfan Khan’s death yesterday and today Rishi Kapoor’s death has brought darkest hour for the fraternity.

His last appearance on the big screen was 102 Not Out. Both President and Prime Minister also showed their condolence to the family with a tweet. President Kovind said, Rishi Kapoor was evergreen personality while PM Modi regraded him as power house of talent.
