]]> A huge Protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act has been planned across more than 10 cities in the country today.  Taking a large gathering Section 144 is imposed in different parts of the country including in Red Fort, New Delhi. People from all aspect of the society are protesting against the newly formed CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act ), While protesters were also detained from Red Fort and Mandi House in Delhi, and now they are heading towards Jantar Mantar. Also in Bengaluru, the protesters gathered around Town Hall to which, some of them were detained as well. Section 144 has been imposed in various parts of Bengaluru and historian Ramachandra Guha has been detained.

A list of cities, destinations and time were circulated on Social media Platforms where the protestors have to be present in order to oppose the CAA.

]]> Number of People are protesting against the recent Citizenship Amendment Bill on twitter and Assam is topping the list. The mass protest also includes the students from various Polytechnic Institutions of Assam who boycotted their exam to take active protest against imposing of CAB in Assam. Seeing the bad situation of the area, police Lathi charged and rubber bullets fired to disburse protesters in Bokul Chaolkhoa Dibrugarh NH37. People protest against Anti-Muslim Citizenship Amendment Bill and burn an effigy of Home Minister Amit Shah in the state of Assam. Tear gas, security forces, and Rifles were deployed in order to make the situation back to normal.
