PM Modi in his speech mentioned a harsh reality of India and said India was not manufacturing a single PPE kit before Corona pandemic. But now, India is manufacturing 2 Lakh PPE kits and 2 Lakh N-95 masks on daily basis.

India has been affected by several diseases in the past. But with the help of its citizens, medical staff, healthcare professional, India has been able to take control on diseases like TB, Polio, malnutrition .

In his address to the nation, PM Modi asserted all his fellow countrymen that, the fight is still on. He also told Kutch had tremendous Earthquake in the year 2001. The place was destroyed completely and there wasn’t any hope if the place will get back on its feet or not. But it recovered swiftly by our Sankalp or the dedication shown by the citizens. Special Economy Package for Self Reliant Bharat was announced today by PM Modi on his address to the nation speech.
This will be for –
1) Land /Labour/Law/Liquidity
2) For MSME /Skill development infra
3) For farmers /Medium class/Entrepreneurs.
More details of the financial aid will be given by Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitaraman.
- Talking about 20 Lakh Crore package –
All the package is going in the pocket of labors in-spite of all transports and office closed. All the reforms made in the last years will benifit now and these reforms will boost ‘Make in India’ project. It will attract investment from all around the globe.
- Importance of Local Supply Chain –
PM addressed corona has made us realise the importance of local supply chain. How important and vital it is when it comes to uplift the economy as a whole.
- Encouraged citizens to buy Indian or Local Products –
He said we have to buy local and also be vocal about local. PM said, whenever a local brand or company is loved by the users, the brand or company becomes global in no time.
- Corona Virus –
Prime Minister Modi said, all the experts and scientist say Corona virus will stay for longer duration. We have to look beyond COVID-19 for the benefit of the country. He also remined his fellow citizens that usage of mask and following social distancing is still on top priority.
