The 2024 F1 season has now concluded and has been one of the most memorable and eventful ones. From multiple race winners to multiple rookies entering the grid between the season to McLaren’s first Constructors win in 26 years. Let’s revisit this amazing season.

This year, Max demonstrated why he was a three-time world champion by winning the Driver’s Championship for the fourth time in a row with Red Bull. Red Bull dominated the first half of the season, but in the second half, they began to lose traction.

Even though they were unable to win the Constructors Championship, Max did not disappoint them at the Drivers’ level. Max also demonstrated why he deserved the title, with consecutive wins at the start of the season and a memorable drive from P17 to P1 in the Brazilian GP.

This year was more than just a Red Bull dominance season, we had multiple race winners, ranging from rookies to veterans. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri achieved their first victory of their career this season.

Many unexpected drivers (Such as George Russell’s and Oscar Piastri’s wins this season) as well as the most unexpected teams winning pole positions (Alpine’s dramatic 2-3 pole wins at the Sao Paulo Grand Prix).

We also saw Lewis Hamilton’s first win in 945 days and another dramatic win of his by disqualification when his teammate got disqualified for driving an underweighted car at the Belgian Grand Prix.

The 2024 season featured a lot of drama. Many drivers were let go due to poor performance at their respective teams. Many drivers were let go this season, including big names like Daniel Riccardio of Red Bull Junior, Sergio Perez of Red Bull, Valterri Bottas of Kick Sauber, and smaller names like Logan Sargeant of Williams.

The most disappointing thing that happened this year was the removal of fan-favourite driver Daniel Riccardio from the roster. Every fan questioned the Red Bull junior team’s decision and disliked them for it.

This season, there was an increase in the number of rookies on the roster, with Franco Colapinto replacing Logan at Williams. Liam Lawsom replaced fan favourite Daniel Riccardio, Jack Doohan replaced Alpine driver Esteban Ocon, who left the roster early, and Ollie Bearman’s memorable debut at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, scoring points for Ferrari.

Well, we talked about how this season was full of drama, and it didn’t stop until the final Grand Prix. Before the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, Ferrari and McLaren had a gap of 21 points, with McLaren having a front row lockout at the starting grid. Carlos of Ferrari started the race in third place, while Charles started in 19th.

Lando Norris drove admirably, maintaining his lead in the race, while his teammate was knocked down by the Driver’s Champion, placing him last on the grid.

This gave the Constructors at Ferrari hope, as fans jokingly referred to Verstappen as an act of god for the team. Charles demonstrated his exceptional driving abilities by advancing 16 positions from P19 to P3.

Even though in the end Mclaren won the Constructors just by 14 points. The efforts put in by the team at Ferrari were commendable.

The dramatic scenes we saw during the 2024 Formula One season come to an end here. One of the most dramatic and unforgettable seasons of Formula One history was this one.

There has never been more anticipation for the 2025 season, which will begin in two months. With Lewis Hamilton joining Ferrari and many rookies joining the season, the 2025 season will also be memorable.
