Pushpa 2- The Rule, a much-awaited sequel finally raises the bar with a clashing first-day box office collection of approx 175 crores, and what a saga of cinematic glory.

Directed by Sukumar and featuring Allu Arjun back in the main role, Pushpa 2- The Rule develops upon the legacy of Pushpa- The Rise, intensifying action, emotion, and drama. For those who have waited holding their breath, what happens next digs deeper into the life of Pushpa Raj and his uncompromising power struggle.

What’s the story of Pushpa in this sequel?

The story takes off from where Pushpa: The Rise left it, with Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun) in power as a tycoon in red sandalwood smuggling. However, the hike comes with a lot of problems. The sequel Pushpa 2 shows Allu Arjun trying to stay as the influential man against internal betrayals, outside threats, and constant action by the rule of law.

When SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, played by the Aavesham star, Fahadh Faasil enters the scene, it creates more tension, and his rivalry with Pushpa becomes the main storyline around which everything revolves.

The screenplay is enjoyable, establishing a tight web of action, drama, and emotional dilemmas as it weaves through the various events. With themes of power, survival, and loyalty dealt with stark realism, all of it makes three hours of entertainment totally worthwhile. The whole of Pushpa’s journey is very much more about the pitfalls of ambition and the sacrifices, it’s not just about emerging as a king.
