The year 2020 has been bringing us sad news day by day. First Irrfan Khan then Rishi Kapoor and now Wajid Khan. The musician, 42, was suffering from kidney ailments and had undergone a kidney transplant a few months ago.
His death was due to a heart attack, but it is also said that coronavirus was also present in his blood. He has had a kidney problem over the last few years and has been a ventilator since he was recently hospitalized.
“Wajid had multiple issues. He had a kidney issue and had a transplant a while ago. But recently he got to know about kidney infection… He was on a ventilator for the last four days after his situation started getting worse. Kidney infection was the beginning and then he got critical”, said Salim Merchant.
Wajid Khan has written many songs for the Salman Khan movies with his brother Sajid Khan. One of the most recent compositions by Wajid Khan and Sajid Khan, Salman Khan ‘s song Bhai Bhai is a song he sang and directed at his Panvel farmhouse amid lockdown.
