With third phase of lockdown implemented, many relaxations were given in various zones made by the state government. While the lockdown extension came in regards to contain the spread but opening up of liquor shops are proving wrong. Even in orange and red zone, liquor shops were told to uplift their shutter in this third phase of the lockdown ending on 17th May. However, not all liquor shops were turned on rather 3-4 km of radius was maintained between two wine shops. On the contrast, people broke all the barriers neglecting essential norms stated by the government of India. Social distancing went for a toss as people line at body to body distance. In many areas, queue to grab liquor went for more than 1-2 kilometres. Police were constantly on duty and were making sure the guidelines must be followed in order to fight corona virus but police were outnumbered. Nobody knows who is positive one standing in the queue with hundreds other (specially in red zones).
Here are some videos/images showing how people went mad to get hold of alcohol when shops re-opened after over a month. People were so desperate for alcohol that they put blinds on their eyes avoiding crucial norm like social distancing.

The videos can overturn the decision (opening of liquor shops) since all the handwork to contain the deadly corona virus by the government can be shattered with this move alone. The spread can reach home to home infecting number of families and neighbours eventually societies. If things go out of hand in coming days, may be government will be forced to take hard decision which can have affects on the lockdown as well.
Best and fast technique to convert green zone into red zone !

No rules were followed during the long queuing for alcohol will worry citizens who have followed all the rules in these past two phases of lockdown. Since everyone wants this corona pandemic to end soon. Everyone is in search to get back on the feet again and earn. Lockdown has affected on the employment, earnings and economy big time. No one in the country would want the sudden growth in the corona hit patients once again when things are looking back normal in few more weeks. Once the spread hit its peak, even government would be helpless to stop huge number of people from dying. People will have to understand what’s important at this particular time when India has badly fighting corona virus unlike many developed countries. Scotch, beer, wine, or vodka can wait for a while but the life of people is at stake if the norms are not followed correctly. Hope, after this blunder, a lot of people in the queue will understand their mistake and the importance of following the rules. Otherwise the day is not too far when the spike in corona hit patient will arise significantly and chaos would be followed after that. It’s our responsibility to help the government to fight deadly corona virus eradication until vaccine comes out eventually.
