Billie Eilish is one of the young and popular singers who entered the limelight at a pretty young age, and her life was never private afterward. Although Billie did a pretty good job trying to keep her personal life off the camera, there were times when things got pretty public.

The star has received multiple awards, including 9 Grammy Awards, 2 American Music Awards, 2 Guinness World Records, 3 MTV Video Music Awards, 3 Brit Awards, 2 Golden Globe Awards, and 2 Academy Awards. She has always been in controversies for literally everything, from her very peculiar clothing style to her dating life. 

However, nowadays everyone is contemplating about her sexuality or whether she has been public about being queer or not. No one knows about the truth, whether she came out way before or not. Recently, during her interview at Variety’s Hitmaker, she mentioned how highly she is intimidated by women, but she thinks that they are really pretty and is ‘attracted’ to them. After that, she talked about how she felt it was ‘pretty obvious’ as she is been living that way ever since. Moreover, this internet icon also thinks about why there is a need for queer people to even come out, why can’t they just exist?

In the same interview, the singer excitedly said, “I am for the girls” on the red carpet. However, in the past, the singer has also mentioned that she likes both the guys and the girls and requested to leave her alone and just let her leave. From all her statements, netizens believe that she probably does not believe in coming out and is a bisexual person.

The singer also said, “I have spent my whole life loving girls and being worried that they hate me for some reason, and wanting to impress them and whatever else and I felt like one with the girls. I have never felt like a girl really and felt like there were so many things on social media like mother-daughter loving stories, sister relationships, and best friends, and it was all to my song and that made me so happy. I always wanted to be a girl’s girl so bad. Girls are amazing.”

Eilish also elaborated on her sexuality in an interview with Rolling Stone that her brand new album, ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ is what sapphic dreams are made of. She also said that she wrote some lyrics for her new popular song called ‘Lunch’ before doing anything with a girl and wrote the rest afterward. 

Some fans also believe that she has turned into a lesbian now, but her previous relationship with a man who was in the limelight for a long time suggests that she might not be a lesbian but bisexual instead. Regardlessly, the LGBTQ community is really happy after having their favorite star, Billie Eilish, as a member of their community.

Billie has made the LGBTQ community happy and proud by the way she presents herself without being pressured by the stereotypical norms related to them. She is representing queer people with a very dignified attitude. This representation will surely elevate the image of the queer community on a large scale, and they can just exist without any worries, just like her.
