A dutch firm to build flying car in India and will setup a manufacturing plant in Gujarat.
PAL-V (Personal Air Land Vehicle), a Netherlands based flying carmaker is planning to begin production by 2021. Reports says that the car will have two engines and can fly at speeds of up to 180 kmph in air and take speeds of up to 160 kmph on road. According to the reports, PAL-V Flying Car will also be exported to other markets from India.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Carlo Maasbommel, Vice President- International Business Development Division and MK Das the state’s Principal Secretary PAL-V, will allow the company to setup its plant in Gujrat.
According to the company, the Indian government would help the company in getting all necessary approvals required to setup the plant in Gujarat, India.
The company has chosen Gujarat for their manufacturing plant due to its world class infrastructure and ease of doing business. Also, the state offers best commercial ports and logistic facilities which will help the company to export the cars manufactured in India to other nations such as United Nations and other European countries. In fact, the company has already received orders for around 100 flying cars which will be exported from Indian port.
The PAL-V made in India flying car, will come in two engines and the car can transform into flying vehicle within three to four minutes and can cover a distance of 500 km with it’s tank full.
