A video has surfaced online, showing DCP of Bengaluru (Central) Chetan Singh Rathore singing National Anthem to calm the people gathered to protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. The protestors stood and joined the officer to sing the anthem. In order to convince them to leave, Rathore also warned them about anti-social elements that use such agitations for their benefit.
2. WhatsApp spyware used on Indians battered Pakistani officials too said by Report
Israeli spyware Pegasus allegedly targeted mobile phones of at least two dozen Pakistani government officials earlier this year, The Guardian reported. 4. Over 267 million Facebook users data found leaked on dark web
On a dark web website, available for free, a database containing user Identifiers, phone numbers and names of more than 267 million Facebook users was revealed, security researcher Bob Diachenko and Comparitech discovered. It was allegedly stolen by criminals in Vietnam by secretly scraping or abusing the Facebook API. Researchers said the data could be used for large-scale spam and phishing campaigns.

For the second day in a row, the Indian rupee weakened against the US dollar on Friday.
While foreign investors have bought nearly $13.85 billion in Indian equities, the rupee has weakened 1.90%, in the year so far. Rupee closed at 71.12 a dollar today, down 0.11% from Thursday’s close of 71.04.
15. Violent protest in Daryaganj: 40 people detained by Delhi Police
Delhi Police detains 40 people in connection with violent protests in Daryaganj on Friday. According to the police, the protesters set fires a private car park at Subhash Marg, Daryaganj. The fire was immediately doused with water and fire extinguishers by the officials. The Police resorted to lathi-charge and used water cannon to disperse protesters.
