Celebrities reveal their favourite 90’s films in Twitter’s special emoji contest

Recently, twitter-India launched a new emoji to justify the love for Bollywood 90’s movies. Twitter India roped Bollywood actress Kajol to start the epic saga contest. As soon as the contest kicked off, fans and celebrities jumped in the contest to put forward their favourite movies from the 90’s. Many Bollywood lovers find nostalgia in those old classic movies which were part of 90’s evolution. Twitter used some relevant hashtags like #90sLove, #BackToThe90s and #90sNostalgia and nitezens joined this explosive contest. From Judwa to DDLJ, Kuch Kuch Hota hai to Ghatak, people wrote tons of movies on their twitter handle showing support for the twitter’s initiative.

Kajol tagged her husband Ajay Devgn and few other celebrities to share their favourites from the 90’s. It was just matter of time, soon the chain formed bigger when all the celebrities started tagging each other stating their own favourite 90’s movie on the first place. Fans were quite eager to see their loved star’s favourite 90’s movies. In this special emoji introduction, a pool of movies came out from the Bollywood industry which kept their fans interested. While Amazon Videos went a step ahead and tweeted their favourite tunes of 90’s Bollywood movies. Eventually they also made list of movies from the 90’s in order to let know their followers nostalgic movies.

The whole contest led to spike in love for 90s Bollywood movies. People are so connected with those old cult classic that, it is becoming a revolution now. A lot of Bollywood star choose ‘Kuch kuch hota hai’ as their favourite one from the 90’s. Sony music started another contest, shared a poster of ‘Pyar toh hona hi tha’ and ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and asked their followers to choose the ‘favourite Jodi’ from the 90s.
