Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has put up a notice outside the residence of P Chidambaram to appear before them. Also, Delhi High Court earlier today had dismissed his anticipatory bail pleas in association with INX Media case. Former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram is facing charges of corruption in a 2007 case related to FIPB approval for foreign funds to the tune of Rs 305 crore.
INX Media was owned by media entrepreneurs Peter Mukerjea and his wife Indrani Mukerjea. Currently, both are in a Mumbai jail for killing the daughter, Sheena Bora, of Indrani Mukerjea & her ex-husband.
