Netflix is gearing to grab every opportunity coming their way. Since the theatres are closed amid deadly corona virus spread, OTT platforms have getting big releases from the Bollywood. After Gulabo Sitabo and Gunjan Saxena, Anushka Sharma starrer Bulbul will also be released on Digital Platform escaping theatre release.
In addition, Anushka Sharma has tasted great success as producer with ‘Pataal Lok’ and now she’s all buckled up release her movie as well on Netflix. Bulbul is also produced by Anushka Sharma production house ‘Clean Slate Films’.
A period drama set in Kolkata based on old beliefs and superstitions, a boy named Satya returns after completion of studies from England. Upon his arrival, he sees how his brother’s wife is serving the villages.

Bulbul has very vibrant poster and looks quite promising. Anushka Sharma took her social media to pen down about ‘Bulbul’. She wrote “A fantastic tale about self-discovery, and justice, wrapped in lore, mystery and intrigue.”
Bulbul, produced by Clean slate films is all set to release on June 24th.
