If you haven’t secured your tickets yet, act fast, as they are selling quickly.

Headlining Acts and Lineup

The festival will feature a star studded lineup of headlining acts including Tyler, the Creator, Blink-182, the Killers, Future and Metro Boomin, Hozier, Stray Kids, Melanie Martinez, and Skrillex.

Other notable performers include Deftones, Tate McRae, Conan Gray, Reneé Rapp, and Victoria Monét. This impressive lineup ensures a diverse range of music genres, catering to all tastes and preferences.

Tickets and Pricing

For those looking to attend, 4-day General Admission tickets are still available on the Lollapalooza website at the Tier 1 price of $409. Additionally, 2-day passes are priced at $318, and 1-day passes are available for $149.

However, Sunday is the only day with the remaining 1-day GA tickets on the official site. For solo tickets for the first three days, you may need to check resale sites such as Stubhub, Vivid Seats, Ticketmaster, and SeatGeek.

Family-Friendly Activities

Lollapalooza is not just for adults; it offers a family-friendly environment with Kidzapalooza, presented by Lifeway Kefir.

Children aged eight and under can enter for free with a ticketed adult and enjoy an interactive music playground that offers family-friendly performances, activities, music, and dance workshops.

If you can’t make it to Chicago, you can still enjoy the festival from the comfort of your home.

Hulu will be livestreaming select performances for its SVOD subscribers, offering a great alternative for those unable to attend in person.

Sustainability Initiatives

In a groundbreaking move, Lollapalooza announced that all audio, lighting, video, and stage production on the main stage will be powered by a hybrid battery system.

This makes Lollapalooza the first major U.S. music festival to use such technology on its main stage. The system will deploy over 1.5 MWh of battery storage capacity, charged using biodiesel fuel, making the festival more environmentally friendly.

Expert Opinions

Jake Perry, director of operations and sustainability at C3 Presents, emphasized the importance of these initiatives: “We have set a goal to build a more sustainable future for music festivals, which requires taking bold steps to find solutions that can reinvent how we operate.”

Lucy August-Perna, head of global sustainability at Live Nation, added, “Solutions like the ones Lollapalooza are pioneering not only contribute toward our global Green Nation goal of cutting our emissions in half by 2030, but they also provide local benefits through reduced noise and air pollution.”

Past and Future Green Efforts

Lollapalooza has previously explored the use of green energy. Last August, Billie Eilish’s headlining set was partially powered by a solar-powered battery system. The festival continues to lead the way in incorporating sustainable practices into its operations.

Lollapalooza 2024 promises an unforgettable experience with its star-studded lineup, family-friendly activities, and commitment to sustainability. Whether you attend in person or tune in via Hulu, this festival is set to be a highlight of the year.
