5 things you must do this Summer

Summer time is finally here! As the days begin to get longer and the temperatures starts to climb incidents of heatstroke, heat cramps and general exhaustion are on the rise across India. Therefore it is important to take good care of your Health and stay fit during summer to avoid health issues. Summer time calls for a weekend trips with the loved ones and some good, healthy Food to beat the heat.

The worst of summer is yet to come and it is recommended to take the following precautions:

Say Yes to Fresh Fruits, Salads and Vegetable

It’s time to say Hello to Salads, Fresh Fruits and Green Vegetable. During summers it is always advisable to increase your intake of fresh fruit and vegetables. Try consuming fruits and vegetable which are rich in water.

Stay Hydrated –

The key to staying fit and healthy during summer is by drinking ample amount of water. Try drinking at least 8-10 glasses of water a day. Drinking fluids even when not thirsty is helpful to keep the body hydrated. You can also drink kokum water, coconut water, Buttermilk, fruit juices etc.

Choose your Clothes wisely

During summers, say goodbye to your favorite color Black and wear bright colors like Red, yellow, Blue etc. Also, prefer Cotton fabric to feel comfortable. Dry fit clothes can be a good option provided the fact it soaks the sweat also, there is no visible sweat patches in this type of clothing.

Use Sunscreens-

No one likes ugly tan, right? So to protect your skin remember to put a sunscreen before stepping out in the sun. Also, don’t make a mistake of only putting a sunscreen on your face but on all the exposed area of your body.

Take a Shower Twice-

After a long tiring day at work and that endless journey in metro or a bus, all you need is a good shower. Staying clean will not only make you feel fresh but will also keep you hygienic.
