Alia Bhatt shared the first look of her upcoming movie Gangubai Kathiawadi as Gangubai on social media on Wednesday. She is playing the role of the woman often called the ‘madam of Kamathipura’ in Sanjay Leela Bhansali film.
The movie is based on Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. The story is all about the Gangubai Kothewali, a brothel owner and ruler.
The movie is releasing on 11 September 2020
